I felt like I was watching B-roll for a Weeknd concert. This movie served no purpose at all. Genuinely one of the worst films I’ve seen in a bit.

Very weak story to even attach the karate kid franchise on it. Had its moments though. Very short movie to justify anything.

sometimes some movies should never see the light of day. this is one of those movies.

While it’s not Villenueve’s best film, the scope of it is ginormous. Hans Zimmer’s score is mesmerizing throughout. Rebecca Ferguson is the absolute standout in this. While it might leave casual moviegoers bored it left me wanting more of this universe.
