“did you ever want to be a boy?”

sapphic girlhood is such a precious thing. this film portrayed it in a comforting, beautiful, and nostalgic way. stories like these will always be so important to be told, and i’m glad people had the guts to do it even back then. it brings back the message that we have always been here, and we will continue to be here. watching it made me wish i could more about my childhood and how i found out i was queer and how i came to with it. but for now it's all blacked out memories. i hope that one day it will come back to me. for now all i can do is live in the moment and appreciate on the current memories i have.
