Godzilla, representing the atomic bombs that devastated Hiroshima and Nagasaki, is a living embodiment of death and destruction, perfectly encapsulating the horrors of nuclear war and the suffering which the United States of America inflicted onto the Japanese people. A great script and talented cast make this a compelling film to watch, as Godzilla Minus One is a rare example of a monster movie that manages to balance having both intriguing human characters and kaiju action.
