It will never get old.
This is just a perfectly crafted masterpiece of a film right here. I love this film so much, there are so many legendary scenes in this film. So many beautiful shots, overall the film is just legendary.
My favorite part of the film was nothing, I loved it all equally, there was nothing bad about this film. Characters, cinematography, writing, all of it nothing bad.
But the cinematography is the first thing I am gonna talk about, there are so many shots in this film that I absolutely love, the one I think I like the most is definitely the shot where he walks to the edge of the cliff and says “long live the fighters” to all the Fremen, that shot is just legendary in my opinion, another shot I liked was the scene where in the final fight when all the sarduakar or the Emperor troops are trying to hold the line, then the huge sand worm pops out of the sand storm that was beautiful.
The next thing I loved was the soundtrack, Hanz Zimmer as usual cooked up a masterpiece of a soundtrack for this film, the music that starts when Chani walks away from Paul in the end of the film is absolutely beautiful, the word ride one is slaps really good, my favorite is definitely the Lisan al gaib one.
The film sets up the next one really well, getting the holy war set up, and green paradise maybe. But what it really left me wanting to know is if Paul will turn bad, if he will become a power thirsty man. Will he become power thirsty, while at the end he showed signs of it, will he realize how he’s turning into the thing he promised Chani he won’t become. So many questions it left me with.
This film is one of if not the greatest films I have ever seen in my life, might be dragging it but like I don’t care, it is to me. Just so many iconic scenes once again, and the iconic lines “SILENCE!” “I am Paul Muad'Dib Atreides, Duke of Arrakis. The Hand of God be my witness, I am the Voice from the Outer World! I will lead you to PARADISE!”, “There is no one in this room who can stand against me. Your mothers warned you about my coming. Fear the moment.” “Because I gain it” are just some of the lines that I love from this film.
This film is perfect.
