hmm I’m not sure how to feel about this one. 

you mean to tell me that a man finds out about his employee’s self harm tendencies and decides to take that as an opportunity to hurt her himself? And he does so by spanking her, when we previously learned that her dad is physically abusive to her mother.

There are just too many things that don’t sit right with me. With the taking advantage of a mentally unstable woman, and lack of consent, this movie could easily have been a horror movie.
