REWATCH OF THE CENTURY

was so happy to watch this again with the fuller context of who Park Chan-Wook is as a director. this movie is such a crazy fucking ride. all held together by chan-wook’s immaculate direction. everything is fluid while remaining grimy and fucking GROSS. LIKE KOREA HAS NEVER LOOKED GROSSER. thought i’d be able to decide if this was my fav out of the vengeance trilogy and im still completely at odds. they’re all.. so good. easily my favorite visual language from any living director (aside from guadagnino maybe) and it’s so addicting to me. 

if i had to rank them from best to worst it’d be-
