i mean oh my god. oh my god! it was indescribable. it was beautiful. it was cinema 

i gave the first movie 3.5 stars, and i stand by that. because at the end of the day, that movie was world building, that was the setup that was the “oh so this is arrakis, this is house atreides, and you see there’s this spice-

DENNIS VILLENUEVE UNLOADS THE FUCKING CLIP ON YOU FOR 166 MINUTES OF STRAIGHT CINEMA

this is what we wanted. this was a spectacle. i think i took about four total breaths during the final 45 minutes of the movie. timothee chalamet, austin butler, zendaya, florence pugh, javier bardem you name it they were all fucking incredible.

this movie was so deep, so many layers. every plot point opened a whole new story. and it wasn’t just over saturated bullshit it was all so impactful. i almost cried this isn’t even a sad movie! i was just fucking overwhelmed 

guys, IMDb, rotten tomatoes, letterboxd, they were all correct, okay? your looking at the reviews thinking “it can’t be that insane” guys i promise it was that insane. you don’t need to take my word for it take literally anyone’s word for it. it rocked

i could go straight into dune 3 i wouldn’t have left the theater. make 10 more dunes denis i will sit through every single one and not move, and probably not breath

i’m not gonna overthink this, this is a 5. and to la la land and shawshank redemption, don’t get to comfortable in the favorites tab, you are very much on the hot seat
