My favorite thing about the movie is like it feels like a movie
Perfecte romcom, mét bergen
Beautiful summer Wyoming landscape in the fore- and background. In a funny way, the movie represents it like a place that is strongly divided in rich tourists and a small local community. The story felt light, yet bittersweet. A short 80 minutes, perfectly used.
Loved this, partly because I love Jackson Hole and it was a beautiful ode to that place, partly because Amy and Loren’s connection was so easy to believe in. Captures perfectly the idea that you can be unhappy anywhere, for any reason - even the most idyllic place - and that people are annoying in their own ways (the liftie types at Loren’s party killed me, very Colorado). It ended exactly how I thought it would but I still hope a little bit there’s a secret ending we just don’t know about

Bitter-sweet rom-com. It goes further than the usual "city life sucks while life close to nature is a fullfulling-at-all-time experience."
Funny even though it feels like there are a lot of inside jokes. Lack of pace sometimes (the argument between Amy and Loren about their vision of life and fulfillment).
Imperfect but at the end, it still gives me a 4 stars kind of vibe.
P.S. : How the final scene of Past Lives should have felt like.
Amusing; believable; scenic; short; tame; watchable.

bleak as hell. my 5-year-old asked me "how many minutes are left?" before lilo and stitch even met for the first time.
his trailer reviews:
- The Bad Guys 2: “no”
- The Smurfs: “never”
- Superman: “is he a bad guy?”
- Elio: “I saw this on YouTube” (?)
- Zootopia 2: “What DAY in November?! We should go to the movie theater every day just to check.”
