Director Luis Javier Henaine sure knows how to create suffocating tension and mood, as he unravels a tale about a man who loses all five senses. With a somber, reflective tone, the film follows a crime scene photographer who stumbles upon a cursed plot and must fight time before he is cast forever in darkness.

The film gives off serious Short Night of Glass Dolls vibes, with Santiago slowly descending into utter blackness - the Perfect Black option on LG OLED certainly makes it even more deadly. He has a choice to make, and Henaine plays with this teetering expectation while also delivering a rich character study that brings up moral questions about life, death, and what one is willing to do to survive. A gripping human story from which I couldn't tear my eyes. Insanely good.
