Very much follows in the footsteps of Greg McLean’s Wolf Creek films, and has some of the best Shark photography in cinema. Best shark movie since Jaws? Possibly.

Strange that this is probably the best in the franchise, yet is tonally closest to the worst in the series (number 4).

Nice to see how much love and fond memories everyone still has for this movie, was a nice surprise this short little retrospective just dropping out of nowhere. 

Still holding out hope that one day someone might pick up the failed Blumhouse reboot series. I mean, the amount of crap Amazon puts out + the amount of cash they’ve got. Get it sorted.

You know when people say “I was literally on the edge of my seat”, but really they mean figuratively. I was LITERALLY on the edge of my seat. Can’t think of the last time a film has stressed me out that much. 

Definitely one that’ll stick with me for a while. Feel sorry for the next person to come see it at the cinema when I’m on shift, because I have questions.
