With almost every movie, there’s always some amount fo suspension of belief.

For this movie, you can’t help think every second of your viewing: “why the fuck did she/he do that” & “this would never happen”. Also at some point we have to believe these actors are in highschool. 

At least the soundtrack is decent?

It’s a Wes Anderson movie, so you know what you’re getting into. Witty, loud colors, fast cuts, etc. Ralph Fiennes is MVP.

Clearly an important historical moment but ultimately the doc is unable to execute a coherent narrative.

For Sama is one of the documentaries you tell everyone about because not enough people know of the horrific events in Aleppo. Eye-opening, heart breaking and moving, For Sama is a must watch for everyone

Klaus is a beautifully animated film that is also surprisingly clever and creative. And I watched this movie in February, imagine watching it during actual Christmas time?

Not better than Kubo or ParaNorman, but better than The Boxtrolls. So there’s that.

A grass is greener story. Beautifully shot, well acted, and packs an emotional gut punch. Go to YouTube and do yourself a favor.
