I had only seen the edited version of this so I’m so lucky Taylor showed me just why this needed a rewatch.
The lead actor loves wearing tight pants to which will never get a complaints from me! This movie also pulls some W.A.V.E. style terrible special effects and at no point does the megalodon look like anything other than the standard great white shark it clearly is.
But it’s got spunk, and if the awful unsexy sex scene had kept doing it would have had even more spunk. Bang bang! *holsters zinger pistols*
Imagine saying a stupid adlib to make your costar laugh that you never intended to be in the movie, and not only does it make it to the final product, but it becomes one of the main reasons anyone knows about the film. Is that embarrassing or impressive?

Shark Attack 3 is a trash treasure.
The dialogue sounds like it was written by aliens trying to replicate human interactions. Nearly every actor is very poorly dubbed by voices that don’t match their appearances at all, with one guy’s lines being nearly incomprehensible due to horrible diction. The shark changes sizes depending on the shot, and it’s constantly roaring. Whenever the megalodon eats someone, the effects are so poor that they’re pitiful. Top secret files are kept on a computer under Manager Files. The word mystery is misspelled as mistery in one shot for absolutely no reason. And, of course, there’s the infamous meme line “I'm really wired. What do you say I take you home and eat your pussy?" This is The Room of shark movies. It’s so horrible that it’s hysterical, and absolutely worth checking out if you love trashterpieces.
Basically THE ROOM of terrible shark movies. Not "good" at all, but consistently entertaining and quite funny. Ride a jet ski straight into a giant shark's mouth today!
The director of this helmed KICKBOXER, shot several Clint Eastwood films and wrote a book on Orson Welles.
Big fake shark, shark stock footage, guys getting their arms and legs ripped off by a shark, and rich people on jetskis being eaten whole by a farting shark. Love it.
The most fun I had was waiting in suspense to hear what dubbed goofy-ass voice was going to spring from the mouth of every new Bulgarian actor that wandered into frame.

If you've seen one shark movie you've pretty much seen them all, this time around it's no different! The movie isn't any good by any standards but the story behind why John Barrowman agreed to be in it plus that famous line that he ad-libbed make it worth it (at conventions he has told the story on both) seriously try to find either of the stories or just the line itself.
Very upset that tubi censors the infamous eating pussy line… but the megalodon is so funny I love it

On average this one has the lowest average rating of the trilogy, but I personally found it slightly more entertaining than the second. The top paid actor, John Barrowman, wasn't terrible, but he wasn't at all good here either. What I enjoyed more than most of the film was the 60ft Megalodon in act three. While it was some really terrible CGI for some shots the action there still lifted this one from one star to one and a half stars for me. Obviously that's not high praise. This entire trilogy is basically pre-Shrek era Sharksploitation, and none of it is really worth seeking out unfortunately.

Shark Attack 3: Megalodon is one of those 'must see to believe' & an absolute must watch for fans of sh!tty shark movies. I can't wait to rewatch it. Best find since Cruel Jaws!
