Well here is the part where my reviews now revolve around my kids. THIS WAS TOMMY's FIRST TIME AT A MOVIE THEATRE. Much more significant for me. He still had a great time. Said the movie was very funny and "precise". No explanation is needed.

Tommy leaned over to me in the middle of the film and said, "I love movie theatres dad."

Can Scorsese retweet that for me?

Welp my first theatre experience since Covid hit. It was everything I thought it would be leading up to the movie starting.

Then a woman brought her baby in a stroller to watch the movie...and I realized we will never go back to normal

A lot funnier than the original. Interesting movie. Way too long but also the back and forth with the brother relationship was refreshing.

No actual ing this time...bummer.

Solid action film. The bar scene is legit comedy gold.

Solid action but the film is more about the brothers.

Another great Hitchcock. I love hoe abrupt all of his endings are. So much build up for it to just end.

Some fantastic camera work in this one too.

Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day were magnificent. Sinister bad guys as well. Some dated things in this one but to be expected for sure.

Being an LA resident working in the film industry this film hits a harder core. Sure it is a love letter to the city I love and romanticizes the industry I crave. However, the thing that really lets the film shine is the heartbreak. This city spits you out and takes you for a ride. Sometimes getting what you want means losing what you love. Yet, still after all the heart break, this city still glitters and shines and the…
