One of the best of the year, great performances all around. Lot of fun in a packed theater, it’s both hilarious and emotional. Sean Baker’s direction is impeccable. There was a sequence in the middle of this with a Take That needle drop which genuinely felt like perfect filmmaking. I do think it slows down a bit and maybe is a tad overlong, regardless this is another incredible addition to Sean Baker’s filmography. The ending is impactful as can be & left the theater completely silent taking it all in.
