this hit too close to home in a way but i think that’s where most of my investment in it came from? otherwise it felt unbalanced to me from scene to scene, i either wept or felt nothing at all. but i think that’s just my opinion on this kind of a film rather than a testament of its quality. not sure cassavetes is for me lmao but only time will tell.
