When people said this was big they really meant it. The first part is really good even though it’s just an introduction of what it’s to come, leading to the big part of the story.
I haven’t read the book but felt like I did because my best friend did and he loves talking so told me pretty much everything about it. That’s why I feel like I can say that they did such a good job here at bringing this story to the big screen, everything about it fits perfectly to show the spectacle of story that this is.
The cinematography and score are once again everything, so seeing this at the cinema is a magical experience.
The cast is so very well chosen, felt like everyone had an important role even though many of them had little screen time, but Timothée’s performance is for sure the one that’s gonna stick with me for the longest time.
Also shout out to Stilgar for being iconic and believing in the Lisan Al Gaib more than anyone could ever do!!
Overall it’s a really lovely and exciting experience, which made me really happy since I felt like I was living a moment that for sure will go down in film history, can’t wait to see it again :)
